- Professionals know that Copper-Green® (EPA Registration # 66591-1) is the best wood preservative line on the market. Designed for use above and below ground and below the water line. Copper-Green® Wood Preservative shields wooden surfaces from the elements, mold, mildew, rot, fungi, decay and wood-eating insects. The heavy-duty, solvent-based preservative protects new wood and highlights the weathering process and prevents future damage for old wood. The copper in Copper-Green® reacts with the cellulose of wood. As a result it is not easily leached from the wood and extends the service life of the wood product. One gallon can be used to cover an area from 150 to 200 sq. ft. per gallon for brush coat or 5 to 10 gallons per 100 board feet for dimensional lumber. Copper-Green® Wood Preservatives are available in stores and online all across the US.
- Green’s Water-Based Wood Preservative (EPA Registration # 66591-6) This convenient water-based wood preservative liquid and spray can be easily applied for surface protection of most woods. Dip-soaking or pressure-impregnation of this product will result in deeper penetration resulting in longer preservation.
